Our College Becomes the Sister School with NPU

Recently, our Secretary of CDP Party Committee Zhoujian visited NPU and signed the cooperation agreement on sister schools with NPU’s President George Hsieh.

Northwestern Polytechnic University, also known as NPU, is a private, co-educational institute of higher education located in Fremont, California. Dr. Ramsey Carter and Dr. Barbara Brown established the institution in 1984. The university confers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in areas like business administration and information sciences, electrical engineering, computer science and computer engineering, among others. The university also offers online programs, facilitating outstation candidates and service holders.

Northwestern Polytechnic University houses several organizations, including the Student Government Association and the Loyola University Community Action Program. The university is home to eight fraternities and seven sororities.

Based on the basic principle of friendly cooperation, seeking common ground, and sharing development, CDP and NPU entered into a sister relationship. Both sides agreed to make use of internet teaching to share resources. The CDP will send teachers, software professionals and students regularly to NPU to study. The NPU will send software experts to teach in CDP. Undergraduates and postgraduates will be trained by common efforts.
