当地时间8月5号上午美国西北理工大学校长谢佐齐先生为我们作了题为”美国高等教育”的专题讲座。谢校长用诙谐幽默的语言从美国的历史切入，为我们精彩地诠释了美国高等教育的模式，并且强调了其教育的精髓即”假如你重视人才，最重要的就是重视不同的智与慧、能与力”。而我们的老师必须在日常注重对学生行为习惯上的细节培养，比如经常同别人微笑、与人亲切招呼、懂得常常说”谢谢”。谢校长毫无保留地将他的教育教学经验传达给我们，三个多小时的时间在不知不觉中过去，学习氛围相当融洽，老师们能得到谢校长这样一位学者的指教自我感觉也进步了不少。

5号下午和晚上在谢校长的亲自带领下教师团深入商学院课堂，分别旁听了社会学、管理学、中级会计和联邦税法四门课程，感受了不同老师的教学教法。

Reports on the Teacher’s Exchange Program in Northwestern Polytechnic University (二)

On the morning of Aug.5^th, President Xie ofNorthwesternPolytechnicUniversitygave us a lecture on US Higher Education Overview. Mr. Xie began with the brief introduction to American history in a quite humorous way, and then made the overview of the modes of US Higher Education. He emphasized that the main focus of education should be on cultivating the intelligence and capabilities of talented people. As for us teachers, we should pay more attention to the education on the students’ behaviors and habits in daily life, and the students should have good manners like carrying smiles, making greetings and having gratitude. We got inspired a lot through the 3-hour talking and appreciated that Mr. Xie shared with us his whole set of experiences in education with no reservation.

In the afternoon and evening, Mr. Xie himself led us to visit four classes of business school, respectively, Sociology, the Principles of Management, Intermediate Accounting and Federal Taxation. We experienced different teaching methods conducted by the professors and gained a lot from it.
