March 29,2011, a group of 4 led by John Allen, president of Lincoln College came to CDP. The delegation was warmly received by He Jiming, vice president, and Yang Shiqing, the senior researcher. Two sides had a deep discussion on commonly concerned topics.

Lincoln College is a government approved college of Further Education located in the centre of the historic city of Lincoln. Lincoln City is on of the most beautiful and safest cities in England with over 2,000 years of history and culture to enjoy. The campus is well equipped for a wide range of subjects including Engineering, Construction, Catering, Sports Science, Business Studies, Information Technology, Travel and Tourism, Care, Performing Arts and Sciences. In 2008, Lincoln College and CDP entered into a sister relationship.

John Allen and his colleagues were very impressed after made a tour of the campus and the financial practical training base, the software training base and in-house enterprises. In the end, John Allen delivered a lecture on the topic of Britain Vocational Education Development.

Vice president of CDP, He Jiming, on behalf of all of the staff and students, extended his welcome to the delegation. He said that leaders of two sides have visited each other several times since the two colleges entered into sister relationship. It was well communicated in terms of staff exchange and training, overseas students’ internship. He finally expressed his hope that more deep cooperation can be conducted to promote vocational education on both sides.
